Design Service

Our charges include a bespoke design service. There is no extra charge for creating a new design from your ideas. Our consultations are for a maximum of 2 people attending.

Lead Times

We kindly request three months’ notice for all wedding cakes and 3 weeks for birthdays and other celebrations; however we can occasionally work to shorter notice so please call and enquire.


To confirm your order, we require a non-refundable 50% deposit to confirm your order. The balance is due two weeks prior to delivery or collection of the cake. We accept payment by cash, cheque or BACS transfer.

Collection and Delivery

Our delivery service includes liaison with the banqueting team at your venue, assembly of the cake in situ and dressing of the cake.

All cakes can be collected from our Cake atelier on the out skirts of london. Where appropriate, we supply cakes with full storage and assembly instructions. We are also happy to advise on transportation of the cake. If the cake is collected either by client or courier, Couture to Cakes is not liable for any damage to the cake once it has left our atelier.


Alterations can be made to your order no later than two weeks prior to collection/delivery. If the alteration affects the overall cost then your balance will be adjusted accordingly.

Cancellation Policy

If production of your cake has commenced, you may be charged for any components already made the 50% that was paid at the beginning of the process will not be refunded however.


All our cakes are baked fresh to order by our own bakers using the finest quality ingredients. We use Allison’s Nature friendly flour, Billington's sugar, Real Madagascan vanilla pods and Callebaut 70% cocoa solids Belgian chocolate in our cake recipes with Silverspoon finest marzipan (almonds 36%), sugarpaste and icing sugar for decoration. We offer the following cake flavours in our collection:

  • Vanilla cake layered with Madagascan vanilla mascarpone cream
  • Luscious lemon cake layered with lemon curd buttercream
  • Chocolate cake is layered with chocolate ganache
  • Carrot cake baked with walnuts, rum-soaked sultanas and coconut with a fresh citrus buttercream
  • Coconut cake made with coconut milk and rasberry jam with vanilla mascapone cream
  • Rich fruit celebration cake baked with luxury brandy
Premium Flavours and Seasonal Specials

We like to experiment with fresh and indulgent ingredients to bring you seasonal special, premium flavours. These include:

  • Lime and coconut with a creamed coconut frosting
  • Chocolate cake with orange infused ganache
  • Mint Chocolate with crunchy mint fragments
  • Kir Royal Champagne cake with chambord cream
  • Baileys tiramasu cake with mascapone frosting
  • Lemon and basil lemon cake with, lemon filling, basil sugar and candied basil
  • Chilli chocolate sponge with cayenne chocolate ganache
Allergies and Special Dietary Requirements
  • All our cakes can be made alcohol-free on request.
  • We are able to offer our Chocolate cake, Vanilla cake or Rich fruit cake as a gluten free option
  • Our carrot cake has an organic sunflower oil base and is dairy free.
  • Regrettably, we are unable to offer egg-free (vegan).
Tasting Samples

Individual tasting samples of our cakes are provided at consultations for 2 people free of charge.
